Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Account info: name, email, password (hashed)
• Payment info: processed by Paystack or LemonSqueezy — we never see your full card details
• Designs: the prompts and inputs you provide, plus the generated outputs
• Usage data: which features you use, how often, when
• Technical data: IP address, browser, device — used for security and to determine your default currency

How we use it

• To provide and improve the service
• To process your payments and manage your subscription
• To respond to support tickets and contact you about important changes
• To detect fraud and abuse
• To send occasional product updates (you can opt out anytime)

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.
• We don't use your designs or prompts to train AI models.
• We don't share your data with third parties except as required to run the service (payment processors, email delivery, AI providers).

Third parties we use

• OpenAI — to generate designs from your prompts. Inputs are sent securely. OpenAI doesn't train on Signal customer data.
• Paystack — Nigerian payment processing
• LemonSqueezy — international payment processing
• SMTP provider — for transactional emails

Data retention

We keep your data as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we remove your personal info within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained for analytics purposes.

Your rights

• Access: see what we have about you — email us
• Correction: update inaccurate info — from your profile page
• Deletion: delete your account anytime from your profile, or email us
• Export: download your designs anytime from My Designs
• Opt-out: unsubscribe from marketing emails via the unsubscribe link

Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, and PCI-compliant payment processors. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We don't use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Children

Signal is not intended for users under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.

Changes to this policy

We'll notify you of material changes via email. Continuing to use Signal after updates means you accept the new policy.
